Gabrielle loves storytelling. Whether performing or recording, what began as a fun hobby at a young age has quickly developed into a passion and career pursuit. In May 2020, Gabrielle graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Studies and a minor in Film Studies. During her undergraduate career, she also received a Certificate in Classical Acting from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in a semester-abroad study program.
Upon graduation, Gabrielle spent a year as an associate theater director for Massachusetts high school students and a teaching assistant at her alma mater, Emory University, focusing on dialect coaching and in-depth scene work. During that time, she completed freelance filmmaking projects for Emory University and FOCUS - a high school summer activity program.
In September 2021, Gabrielle moved to London, where she trained for fifteen months at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts, now Rose Bruford College South West (RBCSW). She completed her formal training with a memorable lead performance as NORA 3 in her college’s graduate production of Nora: A Doll’s House at The Pleasance Theatre in London. Gabrielle’s capstone film project expanded her skill set. Within a documentary film, she focused on capturing the combined visual aspects of body language and emotion, all while revealing the importance both have in actor training. Upon completing coursework with a distinction classification in December 2022, Gabrielle earned her Master’s Degree in Professional Acting. Moving back to New England in July 2023, Gabrielle is motivated to continue growing as an artist through working on various projects as well as developing her own.
Hardworking and driven, she thrives in both collaborative and solo work environments, not allowing free-flowing creativity to stunt her goal-oriented focus and vice versa. Her performances exude a level of “truthfulness and authenticity” with a “natural physicality,” drawing audiences into her “spectacle.” Working behind the camera, she is said to successfully experiment with filming and photography techniques while always keeping her clients comfortable and confident.
Gabrielle's passion for performing and storytelling remains consistent, whether it be as an actor, filmmaker, or photographer. Her effort to uncover truth in all her characters, through embodying them herself and capturing them on camera, is the integral quality that captivates her viewers.
